What we liked
- + Oversized 60 inch arc shields two people, or one person plus a bag, far more than a standard travel canopy
- + One-button auto open and close on a rubber-coated handle, with a frame the maker rates for gusts up to 75 mph
- + Water-repellent finish and SunGuard UPF 50+ fabric, so it doubles as sun shade
Trade-offs
- - The listing gives no folded length or weight, and a 60 inch canopy will always pack larger than a standard travel umbrella
- - A 60 inch canopy is awkward on crowded sidewalks and takes real space in a single carry-on
