TUMELLA Windproof Compact Automatic Folding Travel Umbrella
The TUMELLA windproof compact automatic folding travel umbrella, a sturdy alternative to Repel with auto open and close.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Automatic open and close is handy when stepping out of taxis and trains
- + Windproof frame helps prevent the canopy flipping inside out on gusty corners
- + Compact folded size slips into a backpack bottle pocket
Trade-offs
- - Lesser-known brand than Repel, so long-term frame durability is less proven
- - Automatic spring mechanisms can wear out sooner than simple manual designs
