Thule Landmark 40L Travel Backpack
Thule's Landmark 40L travel backpack, a sturdy clamshell carry-on with the brand's focus on durable, protective design.
Price range: $$$ (Premium)
What we liked
- + Clamshell opening makes it easy to pack and unpack like a small suitcase
- + Thule's durable materials hold up well to overhead bins and rough baggage handling
- + Clean, understated look fits business trips without looking like a hiking pack
Trade-offs
- - Harness is more commuter than trekking style, so long hikes with full weight are less comfortable
- - Pricier than budget 40L packs with similar capacity and pocket counts
